How do I request a UMSOM Alumni email account?

I Forgot my Password

After setting up a recovery email, you can follow these instructions to get back into your account. If you're still unable to access your account, please call the SOM Help Desk for further assistance at 410-706-3998.

What is included with my UMSOM Alumni email account?

Your account will include a 50GB mailbox and a calendar.

Is Office software included?

Microsoft Office software is not included with your Alumni email license, however, if you have a Microsoft Office license, you can click on the appropriate link for your PC or Mac and follow the instructions to add the Alumni mailbox to your Outlook account. PC Instructions Mac Instructions

Does my password expire?

No.  Your password will not expire.  When you first login, you will be required to change the temporary password that was issued.  If you want to change your password in the future, click here for instructions.

Can I forward Alumni mail to my personal email address?

Can I send sensitive information from my UMSOM Alumni email account?

No.  Please do not send any sensitive information, including PHI information, using this account.

Can I add my UMSOM Alumni email to my mobile device?

You can do this by following these instructions. The easiest way to do so is by downloading the Outlook application from your device's app store.
