The MD/Master of Public Health (MD/MPH)

Future physicians interested in combining their clinical expertise with understanding of public health concerns should consider our MD/MPH program.  Students completing this program can address individual and population-based health issues and have many career opportunities.  These students often prepare for a career in which they combine clinical practice with research, policy development, and the planning and implementation of public health interventions.  Students may also focus on serving underserved populations or community health centers through their clinical practice.  Three academic concentrations are offered:  Community and Population Health, Epidemiology, and Global Health.
