This Year's Event Overview
The 46th annual MSRD will be held over 2 days in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 28 (12:10-5pm) and the afternoon and evening on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 (2:20-6:00pm) at the SMC Campus Center.
The event will begin on Day 1 Nov. 28 with opening remarks and keynote address during lunch starting at noon, followed by the student presentations for the rest of the afternoon and through the afternoon of Day 2 Nov. 29. The event will conclude with the Awards Banquet on Day 2 Nov. 29 in the evening.
Respond through the MSRD Interest Form by Nov. 17 if planning to attend or interested in the event.

Jonathan S. Bromberg, M.D., Ph.D. will be the keynote speaker for this year's MSRD.

Attending and Participating in the Event
Attending the Event
Event attendance is open to the entire UMB campus. UM SOM faculty, staff, residents, fellows, and students are encouraged to attend the event. If you are planning to attend the event or would like to receive updates regarding the event, please respond through the Interest Form by October 27.
Participation as Presenter
Presentation Registration & Abstract Submission
Presentation registration and abstract submission are closed.

To present and compete at MSRD, eligible medical students interested in participating must 1) first register their presentation and 2) then later submit the abstract and abstract-related information by the applicable deadlines. Registration and abstracts will be submitted electronically through online forms that will be provided.
Participation as Judge
We welcome UM SOM faculty, postdoctoral and research fellows, residents, research associates, and research staff to be judges for the event.
If you are interested in judging the oral or poster sessions, please complete an entry through the Judges Sign-Up Form to let us know a little about you and your availability for MSRD by November 8.
