2012 Holiday Giving

Holiday Giving Campaign – Catholic Charities Family and Children Services, St. Vincent’s Villa

Department of Anesthesiology volunteers delivered nine large totes and a huge bag filled with gifts for nineteen children who reside at St. Vincent’s Villa. The gifts were purchased through the generous donations of departmental staff ($2590) and department contributions ($1000). Dr. and Mrs. Peter Rock generously matched staff contributions, and a grand total of $6180 was raised for St. Vincent’s Villa.

On the evening of December 9, six volunteers visited St. Vincent’s Villa. Volunteer Coordinator, Carol Shear provided the group with a tour and explained the wonderful services provided. Volunteers then had the heart-warming experience to spend time with a group of excited children who reside at St. Vincent’s Villa. The group became acquainted over a snack of cookies and juice, and then participate in a holiday craft activity.

St. Vincent’s Villa is a program of Catholic Charities Child and Family Services, Baltimore.
