Allan Doctor, MD, directs the Center for Blood Oxygen Transport and Hemostasis (CBOTH), which addresses fundamental, challenging questions related to blood O2 transport and hemostasis, from a systems perspective, with attention to human biology, physiology and therapeutics.

Lakeisha Wilson acts as Research Administrator for clinical and basic research projects, directly managing research nurses and regulatory staff to support center clinical trials. She performs research budgeting; pre- and post-award administration; technology transfer administration; and research space planning. Lakeisha also provides administrative oversight to human subject compliance and ensures proper university protocols are being followed, as well as oversees all other administrative functions such as Information Technology and data development projects; capital equipment planning and management; general procurement; and accounting.
Additionally in her work, Lakeisha uses a strategic, long-range approach to establish goals necessary to implement CBOTH’s mission and strategic vision. She works closely with Scientific Director of Educator Programs to ensure researchers have funding guidance, current publications, research seminars, appropriate intellectual property support and administer training programs for post-docs and students.

Kiana Harvey has been with the University of Maryland Baltimore for more than 10 years. She has held various administrative positions within UMB. She joined CBOTH as the Office Manager, where she is responsible for the day-to-day administrative support functions for the center. Kiana received her Bachelor's in Corporate Communications from University of Baltimore and her Master’s in Forensic Investigations also from University of Baltimore. Kiana enjoys reading books with her book club, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

LaRhonda Jackson joined CBOTH to provide administrative and clerical support to the faculty and staff. She is a graduate of Strayer University with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to her position with CBOTH, Ms. Jackson worked as an administrative assistant in the Harford County Public School System.
