Biosketch

Dr. Moore is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She specializes in general pediatric cardiology in the Children's Heart Program at the University of Maryland Children's Hospital. She received her MD and PhD degrees from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where her research involved study of the the mechanisms of Troponin T mutations in Familial Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. She completed her training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology at Rady Children's Hospital at the University of Califormia San Diego, where she spent an advanced year researching molecular mechanisms of cardiac development.

Her professional interests include general pediatric cardiology, congenital heart disease, and cardiovascular genetics.
