Biosketch

My interest is primarily in preventable infectious diseases of childhood, and my research is focused on using epidemiological methods to improve our understanding of how to modify risk of these illnesses in low-resource settings through the use of vaccines and other interventions. I have a particular interest in the use of vaccine probe studies to better understand the public health value of vaccines and to study associations that may be easily confounded in observational reserach.
