Welcome to the Yang Lab!

The Yang Lab at the University of Maryland School of Medicine performs cutting-edge research in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences. In particular, the lab is interested in investigating the effects of factors such as oxidative stress, cellular organelle stress, and high glucose environments on embryonic development to design solutions to modern issues in the reproductive sciences.

Within the lab, there are both experienced professionals and aspiring graduate students working with contemporary research equipment to ensure success in whatever issues the lab tackles.
