Biosketch

Dr. Elizabeth (Beth) Stierman is a public health researcher dedicated to improving maternal and child health and well-being. Her work focuses on optimizing the quality of maternal and child health care; developing innovative approaches to deliver services in home and community settings; and addressing social and structural determinants of health. Over the past two decades, Dr. Stierman has led the design, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs in the United States, Africa, and Latin America. She is passionate about bridging the gap between research and practice by collaborating with communities, health care providers, and local health departments to apply implementation research and quality improvement methods to benefit the health of women, children, and families and ensure services are accessible and responsive to their needs.
