Biosketch

Dr. Joseph Park is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He specializes in Primary Care Sports Medicine, providing comprehensive, non-operative care for musculoskeletal injuries in both adults and children. Dr. Park is committed to treating the whole athlete—not just the injury—by addressing all aspects of health that impact performance and recovery, including nutrition, mental health, and injury prevention.
Dr. Park is involved in the care of people of all ages and levels—whether they are young athletes, weekend warriors, or those looking to maintain an active lifestyle. With advanced training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, he uses this technology for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. He has prior experience caring for Division I athletes at the University of Wisconsin, and will continue to provide team coverage as part of the University of Maryland Orthopaedics group.
