Biosketch

In 2019, Victoria “Tori” Marchese, PT, PhD, FAPTA, was appointed chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at UMSOM. She brings more than 25 years of clinical and research experience in pediatric physical therapy and rehabilitation science. Dr. Marchese has authored numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed publications on assessment and therapeutic interventions for children with acute and chronic conditions. Her research focuses on the complex interplay of physiological mechanisms underlying physical performance and activity in children, adolescents, and young adults.
