Biosketch

Saima Khatoon is a Postdoc fellow in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Saima Khatoon has completed PhD from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, INDIA, with her research focused on deciphering the potential neuroprotective mechanism of the polyphenolic compound “Fisetin” in acute and chronic mouse models of epilepsy. 

Saima Khatoon pursued her Masters of Science in Toxicology and Bachelors in Pharmacy from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India.
