Biosketch

Dr. Groves is a Pediatric Neurosurgeon, who treats children with Brain and Spinal Cord Tumors, Chiari Malformations, Myelomeningocele, Spasticity and Epilepsy. Additionally, she has made spinal deformity and spinal oncology a key focus of her practice. As the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery for the Department of Neurosurgery at UMMC, Dr. Groves tackles complex diagnoses to help improve the quality of life of a child. Her research interest focuses on pediatrics spinal disease and how surgical intervention can impact the growth and neurological function over a child’s life.
