Biosketch

John Charles Grossman Jr, PT, DPT is a PRN physical therapist at the University of Maryland, Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC), the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC), and TheraFit Rehab, along with being an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science (PTRS). Received a BS in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2012 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Dept. of PTRS in 2015. Worked full-time at BWMC as a staff physical therapist starting in 2015 before transitioning to PRN. As a full-time staff physical therapist, served as Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System Clinical Education Team, and member of the Safe Patient Handling & Mobility, and Falls Committees. Primary therapist of the orthopedic and joint replacement team, treating patients in the acute and outpatient settings. Additionally, level 1 of 2 ICU certified at BWMC. In 2018, became an Adjunct Faculty primarily in the Medical Issues block of the DPT program. In 2019, transitioned to Travel Physical Therapy, working in Ocean City, Maryland and San Francisco, California in the outpatient and acute care settings, respectively. In 2020, while continuing with PRN at BWMC, started PRN jobs at the UMMC in the acute care setting, and Therafit Rehab in an outpatient neuro clinic. Clinical expertise in the acute care setting, and outpatient orthopedics.
