Biosketch

Dr. Eskandar completed her training in pediatric neurology at Children's National Hospital in DC and joined the University of Maryland Medical Center as an Assistant Professor in pediatrics and neurology. As a general pediatric neurologist she enjoys caring for infants, children, and adolescents with various neurological illnesses, and has special clinical interest in neonatal neurology, early child development, headache, and epilepsy.  Her research interests include health disparities, developmental outcomes, medical education, and improving outcomes in migraine and epilepsy. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Child Neurology Society.
