Biosketch
Keara English, MD, is a radiation oncologist at the Tate Cancer Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She provides radiation therapy for patients with a wide range of malignancies and is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based cancer care in a supportive and patient-centered environment.
Dr. English earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. She completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, followed by residency training in Radiation Oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
She treats patients with breast, genitourinary, central nervous system, thoracic, skin, head and neck, and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. English works closely with multidisciplinary oncology teams and places a strong emphasis on attentive bedside manner, clear and thoughtful communication, and compassionate, shared decision-making throughout the treatment process.
Her academic interests include patient-reported outcomes and strategies to minimize treatment-related toxicity, with ongoing efforts focused on improving quality of life during and after cancer therapy.
