Biosketch

A surgical oncologist, Dr. Davis specializes in the care of patients with complex and rare cancers of the digestive tract and other abdominal organs. He performs operations on the stomach, liver, pancreas and intestines using traditional and minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Davis leads the Precancer Genomics Lab, which is dedicated to understanding cancer at its earliest stages, even before it fully develops. The lab's research explores the intricate genomic landscape of precancerous cells and their microenvironment, seeking to identify vulnerabilities and unlock strategies for cancer interception and, ultimately, a future with less cancer.

Dr. Davis is internationally recognized as a leader in the management of people with hereditary gastric and lobular breast cancers.
