Biosketch

Dr. Teague currently serves as Assistant Professor and Attending Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine.  She is a principal clinician working overnight shifts at UMMC and Midtown Campus Emergency Departments.  She completed her primary undergraduate, medical and post-graduate training at the University of Maryland. Throughout her training she has had an interest in and has excelled in chart documentation. Additionally, she has interests in geriatrics and palliative care as well as physician wellness.  She dedicates her non-clinical time to teaching. She is a lead preceptor for the School of Medicine Introduction to Clinical Medicine course, has mentored MD/PhD students in their Longitudinal Clinical Rotation assisting their preparation for re-entry into clinical rotations, is a faculty sponsor for the Social Emergency Medicine, Community Outreach & Resident Engagement Curriculum and helps recent graduates and critical care fellows prepare for their Emergency Medicine oral boards.
