Biosketch

Clinically, I serve as the Associate Medical Director of the Blood Bank and Medical Director of Tissue Bank.

My research is focused on transfusion innovation: (a) performing in vitro functional analysis of blood products, and (b) collaborating on multi-center randomized controlled clinical studies.

I also focus on systems improvement projects related to (a) inventory management - to ensure availability of blood products when needed, while ensuring reduction in wastage; and (b) improving operational efficiency of the blood bank.
