Biosketch

Dr. Gorman graduated from the Metrohealh/Cleveland Clinic/Case Western Reserve University Emergency Medicine residency program in 2013. She initially worked in the community for two years where she gained valuable experience supervising and teaching physician assistants, lectured on obstetrical emergencies, led a cadaver procedure lab and served on an Emergency Department throughput committee. She joined the University of Maryland Emergency Medicine faculty in 2015 as an Assistant Professor. Her primary clinical site is Mercy Medical Center where she works not only with University of Maryland Emergency Medicine residents but also Mercy Interns doing a preliminary medicine year. Dr. Gorman became the EMS Director for Mercy in 2016. She also completed a Clinical Informatics for Emergency Physicians that year. Her clinical interests include obstetrical emergencies, Emergency Medical Services and Clinical Informatics. She also enjoys teaching medical students and has led an Introduction to Clinical Medicine-1 group as well as faciliatated ECG workshops and procedure labs with first and second year medical students.
