Education and Training

I received my MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and then trained in internal medicine at the Brown University Rhode Island Hospital program.  I completed MBA in Medical Services Management from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2011. 


I have practiced and taught general internal medicine in Baltimore for the past thirty years.  I joined the faculty of the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2014, and currently serve as the program director and the director of the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus.
