About HCSMHP
The Howard County School Mental Health Program (HCSMHP) provides evidence-based mental health interventions to students, and works closely with families and school staff to remove barriers to learning. The HCSMHP provides training and consultation for school staff, crisis intervention, and an array of prevention activities for students and their families. The HCSMHP serves five schools.
Our Staff
The HCSMHP staff is comprised of the following:
- Psychologists
- Social workers
- Professional counselors
- Psychiatrists working together
Team members work together to provide therapeutic supports to youth and families, as well as consultations to school staff.
