The Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine has trained physicians of the highest caliber, including more than half of the physicians currently practicing medicine in Maryland. This endowment recognizes two or our long-time faculty members and beloved teachers. Gary D. Plotnick, MD and Michael L. Fisher, MD.
Gifts given in support of this endowed lectureship will help provide unique opportunities each year, enhancing the education of current physicians, medical students, and trainees by bringing renowned physicians and scientists to campus to address various topics related to cardiovascular medicine.
