Biosketch

As an infectious disease specialist, Dr. Edozien is capable of preventing, diagnosing, and treating a wide variety of infectious diseases. Typically, patients with an infectious disease, such as malaria, will require highly specialized treatment or care. Dr. Edozien may also educate patients traveling to places around the world that have a high rate of infectious diseases; this is sometimes referred to as travel medicine. 

The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Edozien specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. He may also refer patients to specialist physicians when medically needed. For instance, patients with serious heart problems could be referred to a cardiologist for further diagnostic tests or therapies.
