Login to SOM Intranet >>

The School of Medicine Intranet has been developed using Microsoft SharePoint, one of the applications available to UMB through the Microsoft Office 365 contract. SharePoint is a tool that will allow faculty, staff, and students to create web sites for internal or collaborative business, academic, and scholarly purposes. As of February, 2020, there are more than 2,000 SOM Intranet sites.

If you have a need to collaborate, either internally, across your department or the SOM, or externally, across the UMB Campus or beyond, SharePoint is available. If you would like to share policies, procedures, forms, documents, videos, etc. within or across your department, SharePoint and the other tools that integrate with SharePoint are available.

To learn more about how to use SharePoint to build an Intranet site, Login using your SOMID and password. Explore the SOM Home Page and the SOM IS sites.   When you are ready to request a site, fill out the Request form under What’s New, and a SharePoint administrator will contact you to assist with the creation of an Intranet site that will meet your needs.
