Biosketch
Dr. Sutherland serves as an attending physician in the University of Maryland Medical Center Adult Emergency Department, and Medical Intensive Care Unit, splitting his clinical time between these two units. He also works in several roles around the system relating to data analytics, informatics, IT, and administration, specifically as Director of Data Analytics and IT Innovation for the University of Maryland Access Center (UMAC), and as the Director of the Center for Emergency medicine Data Analytics and Reporting (CEDAR). Dr. Sutherland is also the Associate Program Director for the EM/IM and EM/IM/CC residency programs at the University of Maryland.
