Biosketch

Dr. Dittmar graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2005. This was followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Baltimore VA Medical Center, ending in 2008. He then completed a year as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Baltimore VA Medical Center. Dr. Dittmar currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine with a focus on hospital-based medicine. He is very interested in medical education especially as it relates to the transition from medical school to residency. Dr. Dittmar serves as the Director of the Medicine Clerkship, Director of the Medicine Sub-Internship, and the Director of the Introduction to Clinical Medicine-3.
