Biosketch
Nicholas Rizer, MD is an emergency physician and fellow in Health Policy and Leadership. Dr. Rizer has interests in state legislative health policy, Medicaid, and health care financing. He has experience working in state and federal health policy roles. In addition, he has research interests in the harms of emergency department boarding and the impact of regulatory policy on emergency care delivery. Lastly, Dr. Rizer has developed a residency elective curriculum to introduce emergency medicine residents to contemporary health policy topics.
