Biosketch
Vandana Rao Racherla, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Program Director of the Pediatric Residency Program at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Racherla is a board-certified pediatrician whose clinical practice focuses on primary care, children with chronic medical conditions and special health care needs, and advancing health equity for underserved populations. Her educational work centers on resident and medical student education, curriculum innovation, individualized learning, transition-to-residency programs, faculty development, and adult learning in medical education. Dr. Racherla has held multiple educational leadership roles, including Director of the Resident Continuity and Community Clinic, Assistant Program Director, and currently Program Director of the Pediatric Residency Program.
