Dr. Brittany Oster is dedicated to patient‑focused care, where listening, thoughtful communication, and shared decision‑making are valued as highly as exceptional surgical outcomes. She specializes in primary and complex hip and knee reconstruction, with particular expertise in anterior approach total hip replacement, advanced primary arthroplasty techniques, and complex revision surgery.

Dr. Oster received her undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands, where she was a collegiate basketball player and earned Academic All‑American recognition. Her background as a competitive athlete shaped her deep appreciation for longevity, mobility, and maintaining an active lifestyle—principles that continue to guide her approach to joint reconstruction and patient care.

She earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received the Dean’s Recognition Award for excellence in clinical responsibilities. Dr. Oster completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Maryland, where she developed a strong foundation in adult reconstruction and a deep connection to the Baltimore community. She then pursued fellowship training in adult reconstruction at the Cleveland Clinic, where she refined her expertise in primary joint replacement, complex revision surgery, and the use of robotic‑assisted techniques to enhance precision and outcomes.

Her academic interests include arthroplasty outcomes and infection research, surgical innovation, and the integration of modern techniques that enhance precision and recovery in joint replacement. She is committed to resident and fellow education and to advancing patient‑centered, evidence‑based care within the field of adult reconstruction.

Dr. Oster is excited to return to Baltimore, a city that became her home during residency, and to serve patients across the region. She strives to deliver the highest quality hip and knee reconstruction care.
