Biosketch
Dr. Shahida Mizan is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems General Psychiatry Residency (Class of 2025) and University of Maryland Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship (Class of 2026). She is passionate about inpatient, emergency, and forensic psychiatry and has been actively involved in trainee education since her medical school days. She is excited for the next step in her career as an inpatient attending and assistant professor at the University of Maryland Medical Center and School of Medicine.
