Biosketch
Dr. Kebort is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. Prior to joining the University of Maryland School of Medicine, she practiced Emergency Medicine for four years at UPMC, including at a Level I trauma center. She currently practices Emergency Medicine at University of Maryland, Midtown Campus and maintains a secondary appointment in the Department of Orthopaedics.
In addition to her clinical practice in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Kebort provides Sports Medicine care at University of Maryland Orthopaedics at Laurel caring for athletes and active individuals with acute and overuse musculoskeletal injuries and sports-related conditions. Her professional interests include the evaluation and management of sports injuries and concussion, injury prevention, and helping patients safely return to activity and sport. She currently serves as a USA Boxing High Performance Physician and US Soccer Network Physician and provides medical coverage for athletes and sporting events at the high school, collegiate, professional, and national levels.

Dr. Kebort provides comprehensive Sports Medicine care for athletes and active individuals of all ages and levels. Her clinical interests include the evaluation and management of acute and overuse musculoskeletal injuries, including sprains and strains, tendon injuries and tendinopathy, joint injuries, arthritis and other degenerative joint condition, fractures and stress injuries, running-related injuries, and sports-related concussion. She also has a particular interest in injury prevention, safe return to activity and sport, and the overall health and well-being of athletes.
Her clinical practice incorporates diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures, including injections, hydrodissections. She has training in Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) and an interest in its use for the treatment of select musculoskeletal conditions.
