Education and Training
I received my BA in Biology and Hispanic Studies from Vassar College and my MD from University of Maryland School of Medicine. I stayed at University of Maryland for the combined residency in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at University of Maryland. I am currently an Assistant Professor in both the departments of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics and am the Program Director for the Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics Residency. I also have an extensive background in EMS and serve as the Deputy Medical Director for the Baltimore City Fire Department.
