Biosketch
I am an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine with an interest is innovation, medical device development, and entrepreneurship. I have an undergraduate degree in bioengineering and work experience in the medical device industry. I developed medical devices as an undergraduate, medical student, resident, and faculty. I am a Fellow of the Fischell Institute of Medical Device Development at the A. James Clark School of Engineering at University of Maryland College Park. I also have an interest in teaching fundamentals of innovation to medical students and residents.
