Biosketch
Dr. Abbie L. Fields is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology/Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University and her Doctor of Medicine from Ohio State University College of Medicine. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Northwestern University followed by a subspecialty fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr Fields received her Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1994 and Subspecialty Certification in Gynecologic Oncology in 1996. She is a member of several national societies including American Association of Cancer Research , American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American College of Surgeons , American Society of Clinical Oncologists and Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. She has authored/coauthored numerous publications and book chapters in her field.
