Adrienne M. Chase is a genetic counselor currently contracted to the Cancer Genetic Counseling Services department at Mercy Medical Center. Adrienne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from Washington College in 2020. Her academic interests in cancer and fertility were integrated into her Senior Capstone Experience, in which she investigated the chemotherapeutic effects on fertility in men and women. In 2023, she earned a Master's in Genetic Counseling degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Her Independent Study Project explored the fertility preservation needs of individuals with hereditary breast or gynecologic variants after genetic testing.

Adrienne joined the University of Maryland School of Medicine as a practicing genetic counselor in 2025. She also serves as a faculty member for the Master's in Genetic Counseling Training Program at UMSOM. She is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and is a licensed genetic counselor in the state of Maryland.
