Biosketch
Dr Chandra completed her nephrology fellowship at University of MI, Ann Arbor following which she completed a 2 year National Kidney Foundation (NKF) research fellowship. She joined University of Maryland as faculty in 2011. She rounds as the attending physician in the nephrology consultative services at University of Maryland hospital.
She manages the Glomerular Diseases clinic at University of Maryland-comprising patients with primary glomerular diseases (Minimal change disease, FSGS, IgA nephropathy, Membranous nephropathy) as well as secondary glomerular diseases such as autoimmune diseases including lupus nephritis, vasculitis and others.
Main area of clinical interest is glomerular diseases, fluids and electrolytes, hypertension.
