Biosketch
Dr. Carleton received her medical degree from Florida International University Herbert Wertheim School of Medicine. She completed a combined residency in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois - Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. At the University of Maryland, she holds joint appointments in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine, and she works clinically in both the emergency department and the outpatient setting. Her academic interests include transitions of care, geriatrics, and social emergency medicine.
