Education and Training

Dr. Katharine E. Boyle is a pediatric intensivist at the University of Maryland Golisano Children's Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her medical degree in 2012 from Weill Cornell Medical College. In 205, she completed residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Washington and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in 2018 at Johns Hopkins University. 

Dr. Boyle is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. (ABMS®)

Biosketch

Dr. Boyle is a medical educator and is a core faculty member for the Pediatrics Clerkship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She also serves as a Faculty Mentor in the Mario Garcia Palmieri House within the medical school's mentoring system. Dr. Boyle is passionate about humanistic approaches to patient care and fostering professional development for medical students and residents. She has extensive training in quality improvement methods and communication strategies and has used these skills to mentor numerous student, resident and fellow academic projects.
