Biosketch
Dr. Afshar studied at Temple University School of Medicine and graduated in 2011. She subsequently completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Baltimore VA Hospital, ending in 2014. She currently serves as an academic hospitalist for both teaching and non-teaching services at the University of Maryland Medical Center and as a preceptor teaching clinical medicine to second year medical students.
