Biosketch

Dr. Pham is a neuro-oncologist who specializes in the treatment of primary brain cancers including, but not limited to low-grade gliomas, high-grade glioma, meningiomas, primary CNS lymphoma and ependymoma. She also sees and treats patients with neurologic complications of cancer.

Dr. Pham is interested in clinical trial development related to novel therapy for brain tumor treatment. She has particular interest in targeted therapy for high-grade glioma and meningioma. She prescribes chemotherapy and performs lumbar puncture, intrathecal delivery of chemotherapy. She is a firm believer that the field of neuro-oncology will undergo dramatic changes in the coming decades and is looking forward to being able to contribute through clinical trials to provide better treatment options for her patients.

Dr. Pham completed her neurology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she served as chief resident. She then completed her neuro-oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, also in Houston, Texas. She was initially drawn to the field of neuro-oncology in medical school while researching drug development in glioblastoma and glioblastoma stem cells. But beyond the science, what motivates her is the privilege to work with neuro-oncology patients.
