Biosketch

Dr. Nurudeen is a breast surgical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of both benign and malignant breast disease. Her clinical interests are in neoadjuvant breast cancer treatment and breast-conserving therapies. Her research interests are in the areas of patient engagement in clinical decision-making and utilization of patient-reported outcomes in determining breast cancer care quality. She was named among Baltimore magazine's 2020 "Top Doctors" in the specialty of breast surgery.

Dr. Nurudeen received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center through a joint BS/MD program at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She completed a general surgery residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

During her residency, Dr. Nurudeen obtained a masters degree in public health with a focus in health policy and management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts. She pursued additional training through a breast surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
