Biosketch

Dr. Marissa Flaherty is a board certified adult psychiatrist and Director in the Office of Student Affairs at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is a community psychiatrist with an interest in treating severe mental illness through recovery oriented care. She is involved in community advocacy for increasing mental health resources for the residents of Baltimore and the surrounding areas. She has a passion for teaching and is involved in teaching both medical students and residents in psychiatry.
