Biosketch
Dr. Adam Zviman is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center, specializing in cardiology, critical care, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. He completed fellowship training in these fields, gaining expertise in the management of complex cardiac patients, particularly those with advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and those requiring temporary mechanical circulatory support (MCS).
Dr. Zviman's clinical interests include the management of shock, the use of temporary MCS devices in critically ill patients, and advanced resuscitation strategies. His research focuses on improving outcomes in patients with severe heart failure, utilizing mechanical circulatory support devices, and optimizing clinical management in the critical care setting. He is passionate about translating scientific advancements into actionable clinical interventions, particularly in the critically ill patient population.
Dr. Zviman is a Maryland native and proud father of twins. He is a passionate Liverpool Football Club supporter and loves watching sports and spending time with his family.
