Biosketch
Dr. Couture is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, during which she spent a year as a Howard Hughes medical research fellow. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and chief residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, after which she spent time as an academic hospitalist. Dr. Couture completed a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at VCU before returning to the Baltimore area. She is interested in graduate medical education, quality improvement, and health equity.
