House Mentors for Academic Year 2025-2026

The house advisor system is comprised of 4 houses each lead by a senior faculty member dedicated to education. Each house has 8 core faculty members with a dedicated cohort of students. Students receive mentorship from faculty as well as more senior house students.  

Houses participate in House events and friendly inter-house competitions.

Eva Dodge House
Dr. Dodge was the first woman intern and the first woman OB/Gyn Resident at the University of Maryland Hospital. She became the acting head of the Department of Obstetrics at the Women's Medical School in Shanghai, China and at the University of Arkansas Medical School.

PoM 1 & 2 Faculty Preceptors

Our PoM 1 & 2 Faculty Preceptors are dedicated clinicians who guide small groups of first- and second-year medical students through early clinical training. They lead weekly sessions focused on patient encounters, interviews, physical exams, oral presentations, and case write-ups—providing individualized feedback to build skills and confidence. Preceptors also review standardized patient performance, mentor students, and contribute to assessments, ensuring each learner is prepared for success in clinical clerkships and beyond.
