CARTI & Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences to co-host Distinguished Researcher Lecture on June 8

The lecture, titled “Seeing Small and Aiming Big,” will feature David Huang, MD, PhD, the 2023 Lasker Award winner and co inventor of optical coherence tomography (OCT), a technology that has transformed the diagnosis and management of eye diseases and has been adopted across multiple medical fields.

Congratulations to CARTI's 2025 Basic Science Research Training Track Cohort!

On December 10th, we celebrated the graduation of our 12 newest CARTI scholars who completed the second cohort of the Basic Science Research Training Track. All have completed grant applications which should be ready for submission to federal or other agencies within the next 6 months.
