CARTI Training Tracks aim to:
- increase the pool of independently funded clinician-scientists and basic scientists;
- build stronger research partnerships;
- strengthen the existing portfolio of evidence-based clinical care;
- increase the amount of competitively secured research funding.
CARTI Training Tracks run approximately four months and provide late-stage fellows and early-stage faculty members structured training for launching an independent research program and for preparing a grant application to secure federal funding.
We offer two Training Tracks similarly structured, as shown in the diagram. The main difference is that one is geared toward basic and translational research, and the other toward translational and clinical or public health research.
