Didactics

The Pain Medicine Fellowship Program offers a well-established educational program that fulfills the requirements of the ACGME. Components include:

• Weekly multidisciplinary case discussions
• Weekly pain medicine lectures
• Visiting lecturers in pain medicine
• Journal club
• Quality Assessment/Improvement and M&M Conferences
• Practice management, compliance, and billing sessions
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) seminars
• Structured board preparation review sessions

Fellows are expected to take an active role in teaching colleagues and residents. Each fellow presents a Grand Rounds lecture as well as additional educational sessions, including journal article reviews and quality improvement presentations.
