Congratulations Yaniv Ergas and Dr. Sivaraman, for being awarded the SRNA Clinical Educator Award!

Starting in 2024 UMMC created a scholarship program with the University of Maryland School of Nursing. This program offers scholarships to promising students in exchange for a three-year work commitment with us following their graduation. More than just financial support, this initiative is a strategic investment in the future and development of the next generation of professionals.  In 2024 we had five new graduate SRNAs start working with us at the DTC and this summer we have three more SRNAs starting full time. Summer 2026 we will be hiring five more of the students we provided scholarships for. 

We want to recognize the clinical educators that stand out to our students. We asked the graduating SRNAs to nominate both a CRNA and Anesthesiologist for the SRNA Clinical Educator Award.
